Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Non-Attendance Policy
Appointments are reserved especially for you. We ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to attend a scheduled appointment (including arriving too late to proceed), will incur a late cancellation or non-attendance fee. This fee reflects the time set aside for your care and the limited availability of psychiatric appointments.
Late cancellation and non-attendance fees:
Are not claimable through Medicare or private health insurance
Must be paid by the patient
May vary depending on appointment length and type
In exceptional circumstances (such as sudden illness or emergencies), fees may be waived at the discretion of the practice.
If you arrive late to your appointment, we may not be able to proceed or may need to shorten the session, and this may still be considered a late cancellation.
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
